Leopard

I love pairing leopard print with either a bold red or blue; it just makes it pop even more. White shorts also seem to make me feel more tan than I normally am, which is a plus! On a site note, I feel so silly taking these pictures in the back porch of my apartment. My neighbor walked out in the middle of my camera's 10 second self timer and I had to play it off by pretending to inspect my ring!
Anyway, I'm on my 3.5 hour break until my night class at 5. Came home and wanted to stream last night's episode of Mob Wives but there weren't any links available so I watch an episode of Gossip Girl instead. Sheesh Gossip Girl and 90210 is just going down the drain for me BIG time. I find the story lines for each episode just unoriginal and not as interesting. One episode was enough for me today. Afterwards, went down to the kitchen and chopped up some strawberries and bananas to bring with me to night class. Fruits have to be my favorite form of snacks!! So good and refreshing.

Back to the Bay

It feels like forever since I've been back home. So happy to see my parents again and to sleep in my old room! On top of that, it's actually sunny and nice here! The San Francisco I know is usually cold or foggy. I also needed to bring up facial cleanser since I ran out in Davis and some more spring/summer clothing--primarily my crochet cover-up since it's swimsuit season!
Debating if I should go out tonight or just chill at home since I have to leave in about 24 hours. Oh my gosh, every time I'm back home I just want to eat everywhere and everything! Excited to eat Pho tonight for dinner...my mom is cooking!

Road to Green

This is pretty much what I see everyday when I'm on my way to school. Very...green and lots of trees! During this time of the year when the flowers and blooming and the sun is shining, it's quite a nice walk. However, it's a complete dread when it's raining because as you can see there isn't really a road other than the one leading from my apartment! It's a tranquil area in Davis, but I'm excited to move some where a bit more lively in a few months :)

Just In

Sorry for the lack of updates--I was swarmed with three midterms and a quiz these past few days. So glad it's finally done, but with the 10-week quarter system, midterms are going to roll around very soon again. The good thing is that while I was studying, I received some goodies I bought online! :) I've been trying to avoid F21 for some time but they have some nice things occasionally (is it me or have their prices went up a little?). I also bought a few things from eBay--this is the FIRST time I actually bought clothing/accessories from there. The shorts + handbag are probably my favorite pieces at the moment. I've been looking for a pair of crochet shorts for the longest time and I'm so glad I found a pair just in time for Spring. The chain strapped handbag is an instant classic for my closet and also reminiscent of Chanel (which I'm going to get one day!)

Acid Wash

It's been a really long time since I've worn shorts; temperature in the high 70s today calls for it! These acid wash denim shorts bring back the 80s but in a more subtle way. It's the ultimate casual/relaxed day with classic Chuck Taylors.

Horray for keeping it super casual! Just got back from getting dinner--yes, that is a pear in my hand. I love how it's still bright outside at this time (7 PM). Pictures came out blurry because I was moving around too much! Lol

Breezy White

I was going to take pictures with my camera today but it ran out of battery, ugh! Had to resort to my iPhone instead and good ol' Instagram. When I think of Spring, I think of flowers blooming, birds chirping, nice weather, and of course that overall good feeling of the dark Winter days being left behind. Decided to start off the week with a comfy white oversized button up, some leggings, and dark brown boots since it was a teeny bit breezy out. I have a feeling I won't be acquainted with boots and leggings any more after today (unless I'm in San Francisco) since it's only going to get hotter.

I've been doing a LOT of online shopping lately so I'm expecting packages throughout the week as well. It's like Christmas. I love it!

Symmetry

I was in a charity fashion show last night hosted by UCD's Student Fashion Association and it was such a fun & exciting experience! Ahhh I was so nervous and scared I was going to trip/fall but thankfully it was smooth sailing down the runway. Glad I conquered my fear and did something out of my comfort zone. Of course it was so amazing to see all the creativity and hard work put into the designs--especially all of the dresses made by our lovely designer. The dresses came out sooo sexy and feminine! Here are some photos I snapped with my iPhone. The line is called Symmetry :) Hopefully I can get my hands on more high quality photos soon!

My dress! For make up we had on a pin-up inspired look. First time I wore such bold lips + my hair was up in a high bun. I could barely recognize myself!

Quick Breakfast

Having a quick breakfast/brunch: blueberry oatmeal with fresh strawberries and bananas. I don't think I can profess my love for fruits enough. SO refreshing, delicious, and good for you! I never wake up early enough for breakfast so most of my meals are brunch, dinner, and late night snack lol.

Anyway, I can't wait to snap pictures of what I've been up to--one of which is happening tomorrow night :) Stay tuned!

Charmed

There's something so enchanting about charm bracelets to me. I picked up these two pieces while shopping last weekend at my local mall since they were BOGO 50% off. The flowers on the necklace adds a nice feminine touch. They're so perfect for all occasions :)

Floral

Since today is probably going to be the nicest day out of the whole week I opted to go for some high waisted floral shorts + a black sweater to add some comfort and warmth. I have class again at 5 - 9 PM so I'm definitely going to change into something a lot warmer. The last picture is what I had for brunch/lunch today. I think I'm obsessed with pickled carrots and jalapeños--they are sooo good!! By the way, I didn't actually wear the brown ankle boots to in the morning because I never wear heels of any sort to class! Instead, I wore a pair of taupe flats :)

Mint & Glam

colors: Mint Sorbet, Golden-l, Red Carpet

Went to target on a whim yesterday and when I saw these polishes on sale for a little over $2 I couldn't resist. I have a bout 5 variations of the turquoise-aqua-minty color already so Mint Sorbet is definitely a happy addition to the family :) It's such a spring color--I love it. Although I see Golden-l and Red Carpet as more of festive colors for the holidays/New Year's Eve it still they are still fun and vibrant colors to wear at this time of the year! I'm wearing the gold color right now and I absolutely adore it.

I'm finally done with classes for the week and I must say the weather has been so sunny. I can't wait for it to be in full spring effect (dreading the summer heat, though) so I can snap more pictures of my outfits :)
