Ombré Nails!

A few days ago, I came across this site full of creative nail tutorials and I saw the ombre nails among them. So instead of studying for a quiz for my Real Estate class last night, I was irking to finally try it out. It's easy, different, and perfect for spring!

I chose shades of green because I love earthy colors. You'll also need a sponge. I just reused one of my old make up sponges.

I painted my nails first with two coats of the lighter shade. Please excuse my dirty hands; I was trying to find a used sponge but picked up some eyeliner as well on the way.

Wet the sponge and squeeze the excess water out, then put some of the darker green on the sponge and start dabbing away! Dab more on the tip of your nail then gradually fade it out. It looks sort of messy but you can clean it up with a Q-tip dipped in nail polish remover.

Finish off with a top coat to make everything come together.

Voilà! Ombré nails! It's not suppose to look perfect which is great for me because I'm not the greatest when it comes to doing my nails.
